Tyson Chicken nuggets

Not sure if anyone uses them but a friend recently told me about them.

https://www.tyson.com/Consumer/Products/ViewProduct.aspx?id=314

They are 100% natural and all ingredients are natural. There is no milk, soy, eggs or nuts. There is though wheat.

My son LOVES them and i feel so happy he's eating some meat even though i'm a vegetarian.

I'm sure most of you already know about them but just though i would throw it out there for those that haven't seen them.  They are in the frozen section.  The dinosaur shaped ones are the healthiest.

  • I have actually gotten the Tyson Chicken Tenders before for DD. I know they are milk/soy free, but not sure of the other allergens. DD wouldn't eat them (not surprising - she has feeding aversions) but I thought they were delicious!

  • I didnt know that. Also Walmarts Chicken Popcorn doesnt have milk or soy in it but not sure about any other allergies.

  • You can check out the ingredients here.  As far as processed foods go, not too bad, considering there is only one really controversial ingredient.  Foodfacts doesn't address GMO products though (and there is a lot of corn/gmo in this product) or the quality of the chicken used including hormones and antibiotics, both of which can have negative health effects.  Honestly, I would avoid it simply due to the corn, because it can aid in inflammation, which is often an issue with kids with any type of allergies.

We usually do a spin on this recipe to swap out the corn flakes for either pecans or flax and we sub the yogurt.  They are so good, super easy and my kids love them!

It went amazing!  She is so inspiring and there were a lot of fantastic people there!  I got the sweetest note from her in my inbox this morning about our journey and how she wishes we lived closer so we could work together.  I blogged about the experience here too.
