DD was called a boy today

I thought those days were over! She was wearing shorts and a shirt that had flowers on them, and pink shoes!

  • Happens to us all the time! I am shocked when they say boy and she is in pink, purple, turquoise, etc.

  • It still happens to us frequently, too. At least once a week, someone asks me, "is he a boy?" Doesn't matter what he's wearing....people are just idiots!

  • People call my LO a girl because his hair is getting long and curly. He even wears boy clothes, can you believe it ? Hmmmm maybe because he's a boy. This infuriates my DH Lol. What is wrong with people ?

  • People have called DS a girl quite a few times. It doesn't help that I let his hair get too long between hair cuts but it isn't THAT long! When I corrected someone once, they said it was because he is so pretty...!

  • People constantly think my DD is a boy. She has blonde curly hair and very petite feminine features, and I dress her in girly clothes and colors, put headbands on her... always awww, he's so cute!

  • People constantly mistake DS for a girl. It could be I like to let his hair get long and he does make an awfully cute girl.

  • Hah hah.  I thought were were past it, too, but it again happened recently.  FWIW, she didn't wasn't wearing any hair accessories and her dress was completely covered by the wrap ('cause she was on my back).

I guess the person hadn't made focused in on her sweet, girly, facial features or the purple flowery shoes.  Oh well.
