Hey I know I don't post much but I wanted to see if you all could send some good vibes my way for tomorrow. LO had several concerning ultrasounds when I was pregnant with him and after birth he was diagnosed with Hydronephrosis. After many tests they discovered he has a definite blockage in the ureter on the left side. When he was 5 weeks old the doctor decided the best move would be to wait and monitor it to see if the blockage would resolve itself over time. Well he has his follow up appointment and ultrasound tomorrow to see if everything is getting better or if the fluid is continuing to build up in his left kidney. If it doesn't resolve then he will need surgery to remove the blockage. This thought scares me. My oldest DD also has kidney issues (reflux which is different than DS's issue) and we are probably going to go ahead and talk to the doctor to schedule her surgery now that school is out for the summer. I love my kids to death but I hate that they are having to go through such medical issues at such a young age. I'm surprised I don't have any gray hairs yet.

Re: Keep your fingers crossed for my LO
I hope everything went well. My DD has reflux in both kidneys but they are low grade. She was admitted at 2 months old due to a kidney infection thanks to the reflux. Hopefully everything is resolved easily for you all.
