I want my Nook Color (NBR)

Okay, its time to whine a little bit.

Yesterday was my Birthday. :) For my Birthday, I wanted the Nook Color but I was also planning on purchasing a new iPhone4 (myself). DH & I went to Verizon on Sat to get the iPhone and they were having a problem adding it to my bill.... something was locked up and it would take up to an hr for them to unlock it. I didn't want to wait around so I said I would just come back. DH stepped up and said "I will just buy it, its for your birthday anyway" (I personally didn't have the cash to buy it, but he did). Well... I didn't want it for my Birthday, lol. He told me "Too bad, its one or the other. You can't have both". Well, I decided to sell my BB, got $60 for it that day. I sold some items in my ETSY store and was getting SO close to having the money for it.

Yesterday, DH came home and surprised me with a GC to Barnes and Noble to cover the rest of the money that I was short. [I knew there was a reason why I married him!] This was the first time that he has ever successfully surprised me. We have shared bank accounts since shortly after we first started dating but I make it a point not to spend his money on myself frivolously.

 Here comes the whining part.... We only have one car right now while we are waiting for an estate to finish the paperwork on a new truck that DH is buying and he took my car to work. I am stuck at the house and I want to GO GET MY NOOK! lol. Its driving me crazy.

 

Oh, and I want to THANK skio for posting the link to the video that helped me make the final decision to get the Nook Color. :)

    I know what you mean!!! I got giftcards in the mail the other day that I was going to put towards my nook color but I haven't made it to town except for work, and after work I have to go right home to pick dd up from daycare.

    I love the nook color and can't wait for it!
