we are going tomorrow for the anatomy scan. My husband wants to stay for the whole scan and then my appointment afterwards, but he has to go to work. He can be a little late, but not over an hour late. How long did yours take? Just so he has an idea.

In my bag: Nikon D90; 35mm 1.8, 90mm 2.8 macro (my fave), Lensbaby Composer with macro extensions. BFP after 13 cycles and one ectopic. Lost left tube 5/19/10.
This.
mine too! and baby boy was very cooperative.
Our actual scan was maybe 20ish minutes. The MFM did it himself and he was quick.
My appointment was at 1pm. I left the house at 12:30, got there at 12:45, got in the room at 1pm (and they started)....they were pretty much done by 1:30pm but wanted the baby to flip so the chambers of the heart could be checked. Bounced/Walked around from 1:30 until 1:40. Tech came back in and check the heart and also the stomach (which was empty when I first came in and hard to see). I was out of there at 2pm....and back at work at 2:20pm.
So including travel time to and from the appointment and the appointment, it was almost 2hrs.

It was sooo cool to see the baby opening and closing its mouth, sucking its thumb, checking the measurements of the limbs - baby is doing GREAT!!!

This. And my tech even mentioned that the baby moved around an incredible amount (I can only imagine if he had held still for her!). Of course there was much more waiting before and then for the doctor to come in, and he was probably there for 5-10 minutes.
