I can't decide and DH is not helpful. I was thinking the Tacoma Children's Museum, but DH says he's never even seen it, and there were no pics online, so he's pretty much crossed it off the list (I know stupid reasons, but he's stubborn).
He thought we could go to a Mariner's game, but he would expect everyone to pay for their own tickets (I explained to him that's not how birthday parties work)
I am also thinking a resturaunt or like a private room at a community center or something since it's going to be mostly adults. Any ideas?
Re: 1st birthday party locations (south end)
Do you have a back yard that you could do a BBQ and just have a relaxed time.
How many people are you having come?
Most people just want to see the birthday boy have fun and eat cake.

Round Table Pizza has free party rooms you could use.
The Children's Musuem is fun, I am not sure how much my little one would have enjoyed it at 1yr. We have been twice and he had a lot more fun the second time at ( 16.5 months old) when he could get around really well. Good luck in your search.
Holy - with a summer birthday, you could have it at just about any local park! Color me jealous!
We rented a room at the Lakewood Community Center the last two years and it has been great.
A restaurant with a good party room is Montezcumas Mexican Restaurant in Tacoma. The Ram also has a party room.
