I want to be pregnant so bad it hurts.

My baby fever is mad crazy right now and I have a feeling it's creeping up on my husband as well. (He spent a good 15 minutes on the web this morning looking for boy middle names. Lol!)

We've been having unprotected sex for a couple of months now and I seem to forget I'm infertile by getting excited when AF is supposed to show up. Sure enough she shows up and I'm crushed. Because of my son, IF doesn't sting as much but still, I'd love for him to be a big brother.

My husband is so cute and optimistic. He said today that at least we know that I can get pregnant just with some pills. Umm, no honey, We were incredibly blessed with our son. The odds of concieving on the first cycle with fertility meds aren't that high and I doubt we'll get that lucky again.

On that note, I'm not sure when we'll be going back to the doc, either later this year or early next year but not anytime soon. I do want to be pregnant but because time is on our side, we're not jumping on the RE boat quite yet.

Anyway, there's really no point to this post. I'm just bummed out right now and needed to vent.

    (((Hugs)))  It stinks that infertility has to do this to people.  Hopefully you will get your BFP soon.

    Are you charting? If you're Oing regularly and DH doesn't have any sperm issues, I'd say you could get lucky very soon (IIRC, PCOS cycles were your "issue" last time, right?)! And if not, you do know a protocol that works for you. GL!

    It's great that you're both in the same place with wanting another.  I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that it happens for you guys sometime very soon.

    Secondary infertility success with IVF, then two losses, one at 14 weeks and one at 10 weeks, then success with IUI and then just pure, crazy luck.  Expecting our fifth in May as the result of a FET.

    I have baby fever too!  I believe Robbie would be a great big brother and want to give this to him.  We have decided that we are not going to do IVF again and our chances of conveiving naturally are low, but you can only hope - right?
    TTC since 10/06 - Went to RE after 6 months of TTC due to AMA -Diagnosed with MIF 5/07, only option IVF with ICSI - IVF #1 cancelled due to cyst, never got to ER - IVF #1.5 10/07, BFP - Robert Andrew born 7/30/08 Lilypie Kids Birthday tickers

    Thanks guys, you are all very sweet for sympathizing with me. What sucks the most is that I can't get pregnant like a normal person, I have to WAIT until we go back to the doc. It's just an overall sucky situation. (Pity-party for one please.)

    CJ71903: Unfortunately, I don't O regularly and you're correct, PCOS is my current enemy. Granted my periods have been "somewhat" normal since having my son but my cycles are anywhere from 5 weeks-8 weeks long so even if I do ovulate, it's very hard to pinpoint when. I guess I could start charting to see what's going on with my body but I feel so overwhelmed by the whole process that I don't know where to start.
