Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months

Please post your 14-month(ish) old's feeding schedule

Trying to tinker with my twins' schedules - they seem too reliant on bottles, which I'm starting to wean from, and I want to see roughly when you guys are feeding.  Much appreciated!

Re: Please post your 14-month(ish) old's feeding schedule

  • Breakfast - 7ish

    Sippy of milk - 8:30ish

Lunch - usually after his nap, anywhere from 11:30-1ish

    Sippy of milk - 2ish

    Dinner - 5

    Sippy of milk - 6:30ish

*Usually some very light snacking in between the "meals."  It's VERY light though.  DS is more into playing at this point than actually eating.

  • Hi Jenkm.  My daughter is not a big breakfast eater (she takes after her father) but here is her schedule:

7am:  2 sliver dollar pancakes with jelly, handful of blueberries or banana, 6 oz of pediasure(recc by doctor since my DD is a peanut)

9:30:  snack of goldfish or teddygrams

11:30:  Half of a avacado, half cup of fruit, handful of grilled chicken pieces or deli meat, few ounces of milk

     3pm: container of yogurt

6pm:  3/4 cup of pasta, half of a hotdog and some broccoli crowns, few ounces of milk

8:15: few ounces of milk and ritz sandwich cracker or something to hold her over till the morning

  • DD is 15 months, but this has been her schedule for a few months now:

Breakfast and milk sippy around 6:30/7ish

Snack around 9/10ish, only if she wants it - often she'd rather have her nap :)

Lunch and milk sippy around noon

    Snack around 3/4ish

Dinner and milk sippy around 5:30/6ish

    Milk sippy before bed

9:30: 1/4 c cereal, 1/4 cup milk and 1 jar of meat/veggie mix: all mixd together.& water sippy

12:30: 1/4 -1/3 cup veggie (or 1/2 a sweet potato, or other veggie). And milk sippy. Cherrios to top off.

3:30: 1/4 -1/3 cup fruit and bread or cherrios to top off. And milk sippy

5:30-6pm: Either a cheese stick or yogart. And either fruit, veggies, or a little of our dinner, depending on the day. And sippy of milk

7:30-8pm  1/4 c cereal, 1/4 cup milk and 1 jar of fruit or veggie : all mixd together and water sippy

    8:30 pm: BF before bedtime

The milk sippy throughout the day is never finished, really i fill it up once in the morning and its lasts all day. And then LO get water sippy while playing. LO does better if i have one main food at each meal, otherwise he refused to eat veggies to get the fruit, or refuses both to get the dairy or bread group. So I alway do bread or cherrios after he eat while i clean up the dishes.

  • We give the girls 5 oz milk each time we give a sippy, so they are getting at most 20 oz a day (but usually less since they rarely finish all of them).

7ish - wake, breakfast & sippy of milk

    9:30-10:30 nap

Around 11 - lunch & sippy of milk

Sometime between 2-3 - snack with sippy of milk

    nap right after snack

5:00 - dinner with a sippy of water

    6:30 - sippy of milk

Then we change them into overnight diapers, brush their teeth and they're in bed at 7.
