My son will only eat while asleep

My son is now 23 weeks and starting around 13 weeks he became a very fussy eater. It's been a long 10 weeks of him first just not being interested and then crying whenever I tried giving him the bottle.  I noticed a couple days in that sometimes he would fall asleep while I was feeding him and he would finish the entire bottle. This gave me the idea to feed him while he is asleep. I know that this is not the right thing to do but I am at a loss. Anyone else have a baby that won't open his mouth for the bottle and will only eat while asleep???

    Do you BF or FF?

    Have you talked to your pedi?

    Our big guy had a protein intolerance & was on a prescription formula, but he still had trouble with feedings & they only went well if he was sleepy & before he got really hungry.  Turns out he had some acid reflux & we had to take him to a ped. gastroenterologist.  Going to her made a huge difference for us.  Good luck figuring out what works for you guys!
