Yep - Motherhood & Target! Also, not sure if you have a Ross by you, but they have a small maternity section and are super inexpensive! ETA: Kohl's! I just went there last week and didn't realize they had a maternity. The clothes are super cute and not quite as expensive as Motherhood.

Good luck! I've found some decent stuff at Old Navy and a few things at Motherhood. Also, I got a great dress at Target. That was after months of looking online and browsing when I was out and near those stores. A lot of stuff is picked over, and I've found that ON tends to run out of smaller sizes online. Sadly, there seems to be a void of nice maternity clothes out there unless you spend a fortune.
My one splurge was a dress from Norstrom.com for a couple of weddings, an engagement party and my baby shower later on this summer. They have some really nice maternity stuff if it is within your price range.

Believe it or not, I had the best luck at JC Penny. They had a huge maternity department and were super affordable. I've also enjoyed H&M. Just beware of the size differences. I am a size 8 and I had to get a size 14 to fit!!! It was actually a very sad day for me. lol

All I have to say is watch out at the Motherhood Maternity store! Try EVERYTHING on! I bought two pair of the same jean pants and one is smaller than the other.

I don't know if they have one by you but Pickles and Ice Cream is a great maternity store. If nothing else go online and look at their clearance stuff I got some great t's from them. I am also going to be the one to say it but I love pea in the pod. Yes they are expensive but their clothes seem to be better made than Motherhood even though they are all one company. For work, nothing has come close to Pea in the Pod. But for nonwork clothes I have bought plenty from Motherhood.

Pickle and Ice Cream! They are in the south mostly I think, and I'm not sure what river your van is parked at ;-) But such cute stuff, like what I'd wear pre-pregnancy.

I have bought the few items I have so far for work at Nordstrom and Pea in the Pod. Pea in the Pod actually has some good sale prices, so I got some good deals that way. I have ordered some stuff from Gap online; I'm waiting for it to arrive. And we have a few boutique stores here in SF that I am going to hit. I didn't find anything I liked at Motherhood; maybe the store I went to was picked over when I was there. I'm sure I'll pick up some items for weekend wear at Target; I love Target.

Motherhood, Ross, and Target are my absolute favorites. Old Navy and Kohls are okay too. I agree with PP about trying on things at Motherhood, I shopped for jeans there and tried on 3 different pairs in the same size and they all fit completely differently!
Gap and Old Navy. One of my local Baby Gap stores has a few racks of maternity in the back. It helped me get an idea of sizing before I went to purchase more online. Have fun!

So far I have only bought from Gap...and only items on sale or when they are doing a promo. For example, if you have a Gap, ON, or Banana card, they are doing 40% off everything for card members through June 10th (just mention that you saw the promo posted on their Facebook page). I love Gap for reg clothes, so I will probably mostly shop there. The Target closest to me is awful....the clothes look cheap and the selection is terrible. Maybe I should look online!

I have to agree A Pea in the Pod has pretty good stuff. Too bad I didn't get pregnant when I worked there so I could've gotten the 30% discount! I got a couple pairs of shorts from there and an amazing sleep bra. We have a Pickles and Ice Cream near by but I haven't been in yet. What I hate about stores like that is the salespeople are always up your butt. I like my space and to not be coerced into buying something!
