I can't seem to find one of these anywhere. All the ones with strap seem to be for infants. We have one without a strap, but when we're on the beach and it's windy, it will never stay on, so I'd like to find one with some kind of strap. I'd prefer velcro to a tie, or drawstring, but those would work too. I like the bucket hat style versus the baseball cap style with the panels that hang down on their neck.
I've seen some online, but they're $15-20 plus shipping. So I wondered if anyone had seen any in-store anywhere locally? TIA!

Re: Toddler sun hat with chin strap
Target has an end cap display of infant bucket hats right now with velcro straps. They are SUPER huge...and my kid has a big head.
You might see if one of those will fit? Otherwise, they may have them in toddler sizes as well?
GL!
Gymboree has hats with straps that go up to the "2T-4T" size. I snagged one out of the clearance bin 2 weeks ago (less than $5) at Triangle Town Center. I will warn you that the one we got last year, same size, shrunk after getting wet. This year I am going to stretch it out each time we finish at the pool & it's wet. It isn't exactly made for getting wet, but it's 100% cotton & washable, so I figured we were cool.
Edited to add -
<---- last year's Gymboree hat is my profile pic, another $5 clearance find (Crabtree store)
I also got a hat from Kohls that has a velro chin strap (Jumping Beans brand). It was just in a little bin on top of the shelves. Found it in April though, hard to say if they keep those things stocked. It was less than $10.
Finally, I have lots of hat knowledge since my poor 2 year old has very little hair... my MIL got a big brimmed hat at Wal-Mart and it survived our week at the beach, wind & all! The hat part was pretty deep and it stayed on her head and the brim provided plenty of cover for her face, shoulders & neck. Love it. Made be Faded Glory, and I am assuming it's around $5.

Not sure if there are any stores near you that carry this line- they have lots of cute toddler girls hats though!
