Seriously going to lose it

I went today hoping to see a sac on the ultrasound. My betas have been doubling but on the low side...

60, 197, 457.

My lining is super thick, Dr. said "there is something in there" but no visible sac. They keep telling me its early. With my son I had already saw a sac at this point., 5 w, 2 days. They said every pregnancy is different and don't compare.They tell me 1500-2000 beta is the point where a sac is seen. I SHOULD be close to 1000 today. They checked for bleeding, inflamation and saw nothing. Where is it and why is this so nerve wracking! I feel like my breath is held....I hope to exhale soon! Does this sound right?

    I guess my problem is I am comparing with my last, everyone else, etc. Thank you! I sure hope so!

    hang in there i had a few early ultrasounds where they didnt see anything  and were telling me that i might have an ectopic. But all the worry was for nothing. There was actually three sacs.  My betas were high but they just couldnt see them yet.

    When were they able to see?

    I won't say try not to worry because I know you will anyway.  But, if you are only 1000 now then it is too early.  You can't see anything until 1500, some people not until 2000.  2500 is the cut off of when you should see something.  Good luck.

    I feel your pain.  I was just in beta & u/s hell for the past few weeks BUT my betas were not rising properly and yours seems to be (which is a good sign).  I agree with the pp that your beta is too low to see anything on u/s it needs to be at around 1500.  Try to hang in there I know that this wait is absolutely excruciating! 

    BTW I am a "Fillie" girl too : )

    Thanks Ladies :-) I am carrying my phone around with me waiting for that phone call. Hoping for 800 or higher   :-)
