We were lucky enough to get F's first giggle on video- it's ridiculously cute & I watch it all the time. Anyways, I digress. That was when he was 3 months old- three something-odd weeks ago. We haven't gotten sh*t since then & it's killing me. I want giggles! Anyone else's LO not continuously giggling yet? He doesn't seem like a serious baby either....smiles, talks and sings all day long...maybe we're just not funny?

DD's first giggle was at the phone store by a guy H knew.... then H got one (a teeny tiny one) later that day. I got a teeny one yesterday being ridiculous, but I don't see her making a habit of it yet. Poo :-{

I hope this link works, but A will try so hard to laugh, but nothing fully comes out. Like when I tickle her, it tickles like crazy but she won't fully open her mouth to let it out. My sister got her trying on video when she was in town and finally sent it to me yesterday.

The other day I was playin around with LO on the couch and all of a sudden the giggles started! I was in HEAVEN! So of course I tried to get him to continue and it drifted off. He hasn't giggled like that again. Granted it was only this past weekend. But I've been trying so hard to get those giggles back... so I know what you mean!

I seriously have worried that I am not funny either

She has giggled a little once for my MIL & FIL and then the other day my cousin was making my LO pretend kick her son, and he was like yanking on her legs and I was horrified and about to go rescue her when she started cracking up. So either I just don?t get what is funny to her or its just going to take time for her to laugh consistently. I?m sure it?s the latter. I?ve also been told soon she?ll be cracking up every time she farts, so we have that to look forward to.

The link works alright- she's darling! Far more than what F is doing- he briefly sounds like it could be a laugh and then he just breaks out into a huge gummy smile. It really sounds like she's on the verge of letting it all out!

We've had what I've called giggles for a while, but got our first (and only so far) laugh out loud this weekend. I blew on her tummy. Don't worry, they're still learning what funny is.

I don't think we've gotten any real giggles yet! It's more like an "Ahhhh!" with a huge gummy grin. Still to look forward to, I guess!

my LO is such a happy, social, and smiley guy but has yet to give us a giggle! I am waiting and waiting for it! He does this funny thing where he smiles and his body shakes like he is CRACKING UP, but no sound comes out! Give me those baby giggles!

Same here in the giggles department. We get one tiny bout once a day and it's always for something different. I try and repeat what worked the day before and he just gives a huge smile and rolls around all happy. I'm not sure he's that in control of when the giggles are happening but it is so cute when we finally get them! His smile was the same way at first and was very sporadic and now he smiles ALL the time, so I hope the giggles will be the same once they come in full force!

I feel the exact same way! I will say something totally dumb like "blah, this coffee is terrible", she will laugh hysterically a few times then nothing for a week.

Haha, yes! She is my doppelganger & I'll take it b/c I don't see it so much....my sister looks just like me (only taller & thinner) and she gets it, too- two Sweet Dee impersonators running around Philadelphia!

DS first laughed as a tiny baby, in his sleep. Nothing since. For a while he's been doing the one laugh thing - like a "Ha" but nothing more.

Until Monday. I made a ridiculous noise, he busted out in a fit of giggles, and then he did it all day long. All DD had to do was talk to him and he laughed like a maniac. Now he's a giggler.

They're all getting there. Soon! Baby giggles are the best.

I just got DD to giggle by myself for once!!! AND got it on my phone!!! I was playing with the balloon with her after she got mad at tummy time and it would bop her on the head and she's giggle! :-D weeeeeeeee

DS doesn't giggle AT ALL and I'm dying for him to do it!! He smiles all the time and "talks" all the time, but he won't laugh and I really can't wait for him to start doing it.
