upcoming playgroups

I was just looking at my notes and just want to make sure we still have this scheduled:

June - MrsRemy & Sean are hosting

July - JenTim & Annabelle are hosting

I don't think we have any official "hosts" for the following months.

DaisyTerp, Ragdolls and MrsWtobe had all expressed interest previously.

Let me know what you guys are thinking.

    I've been trying to think of some locations for July's play date. I know Annie's playground was a huge hit last year and now that Annabelle is mobile, this place is excellent. I just have to figure out a date.

    Can I but in...I just discovered this board...yay!

    I live in the Columbia area and have been looking for a playgroup for me and my son (11 months).

    I'd love any info on what you ladies do as playgroups...and maybe we'll be cool enough to get invited ;)

    How old were your LOs when you started coming to the playgroups? Obviously, B is too young but I look forward to when we can come! :)

    I went last week with L, mostly to just get out of the house, enjoy the weather and tire her out. She's obviously too young to do anything really Smile

    Mella, I first brought J when he was 6 weeks.  It was so nice to get out of the house and just be around other mom's to chat and there were quite a few other babies that weren't mobile yet there too.  (remy I think S had just started to sit up on his own??)

    I remember that!  You were so beat and John was soooo tiny.

    Its fun to see the LOs get bigger and develop personalities too and see their little milestones.  I say if you are up for it, bring 'em!  The bigger babies and toddlers all like to see the little babies too and the babies love to see the older kids too.

    I'm still thinking of doing a pool par-tay for August - probably either the first or second weekend.  Would people still be down for that?  We live in Clarksville, about 5 miles south of Columbia, and have an obscenely large pool - which I would outfit with a "deep end rope" for this very special occassion. ;)

    Please let it be the first weekend, we are out of town both weekends after that. I feel like I'll never make it to a gtg lol

    You and me both, sister!!  I'm thinking perhaps the first weekend with a rain date for the next week.  Will start a thread to see if that week would or wouldn't work for many of the moms.
