DD will be 3 next month and I have no clue what I want to do for her birthday. Right down I am debating between Little Gym or giving her a Dora party in the park. What did you do for your DC's 3rd birthday? Do you have any pictures to share?
DD's b-day is in October and its still fairly nice outside. We have a small bounce house for the kiddies as well.
We decorated with blow up crayons. I bought balloons in primary colors, I did crayon piggy banks as the center pieces. The paper products and table cloths matched. We had a crayon pinanta and the favors were crayon boxes that I made a label that said thank you for coloring with me today.
It was a lot of fun.
I also made a crayon box cake with ice cream cones for the crayons. It had her name where crayola would be and 3 in the middle. It came out pretty good!
I went a leeeeeetle overboard but it was cool. I found a lady here who brought animals to the house and would bring them out one at a time and talk to the kids about them and generally let them pet them. So DD got to pet a chincilla, chicken with the funky hairdo (forget the breed name), hedgehog, ferret, frog and wallaby. This year we are doing a combo bday for DS and DD and just having the Fun Bus. Friends of DD's just did the park and it was great!
DS#2 will be 3 next month too! We will be in Georgia visiting my family at the time, so we're having his party at Chuck E. Cheese. It's only going to be us, my family, and two close family friends. Pretty small party.
For DS#1, we had his 4th bday party at CEC too! It was the best money we ever spent!
We are only doing it once for each of them. This year DS#1 is having a Pirate party at the house.
DD will be 3 in July. We took her to a small circus and a few small carnivals in our area recently and she just loved it so I am doing a carnival theme. We are having it at a park and will have ring toss, sack races, a bounce house, face painting, balloons, etc. We both have big families with lots of cousins so there will be 24 kids. I have 10 different activities/games for the kids and we are giving away tickets for them to turn in for small prizes rather than goodies bags.
DD turned 3 last week. We did a small Dora themed party at the park and BBQ'd hotdogs and hamburgers. A few side dishes and Dora Cake. We also had a Dora Pinata. I haven't updated my Blog with pics yet, but I went to a party store and got basic decorations, like Dora table covers, napkins, dessert plates and party hats and goodie bags. For entertainment, we got the BBQ area closest to the playground.

For my older DD, we did a party at home in the backyard. We had the sprinkler going, had a small bounce house and some other outdoor kid games set up, served cake and called it a day. It was great. My younger DD was totally into trains when she turned 3 (this past March) and we have a train store in town that has a private party room right outside the kids area which has about 6 train tables set up for the kids. It was a blast. We served subs and cake. It was a 90 min party.
