Ugh

I am 16 weeks pregnant, and I've thrown up twice today. So violently, in fact, that I burst all the capillaries in my face. I look like I have a skin disease. It is so not attractive. I was sick with Ellie until about 24 weeks, and I was hoping to get a little earlier reprieve this time around, but apparently neither of my children have gotten the memo that Mommy's supposed to start feeling better in the second trimester. I am so grateful to be pregnant, but I am about ready for this part of it to be over.

    Oh, my word! You poor thing, I can totally empathize. If it is any consolation, my MS (with DS2) lasted for what seemed like a MINUTE, compared to how long (and how violently ill) it lasted with DS1. Hopefully, the same will hold true for you. In the meantime, I hope you are able to find some time to rest and hydrate.

    Ugh, I'm sorry! I still get sick every single morning. I'm also looking forward to when that decides to end. Hopefully it continues to get better and better for you and soon is gone.
    6/28/10: Lost our sweet baby Addyston at 18wk 1day to pPROM 7/24/11: Michael William born at 24wk 2d due to IC after an emergent cerclage at 18wks, 4wk home BR and 2 weeks hospital BR. Grow strong our little Miracle! 9/17/11: Michael joined his sister in heaven after 8 amazing weeks with us on earth. He fought a very hard fight but NEC was too much for him in the end.     Ugh is right!  I'm so sorry :( m/s just plain ol' stinks.  I really, really hope it goes away SOON!!!!!

    Oh, thanks, Kristen! I feel like I look about 6 months pregnant, when with Ellie I don't think I was even in maternity clothes at this point. You're just lucky you saw me before my face was covered in little red spots. It would have been hard to hide your horror yesterday.
