    me too! 1.5 cm (and 80% effaced) I'm hoping for a baby this weekend. Fingers crossed ( but it can take forever, I know)

    With my previous two children I started dilating at around 34-36 weeks, with my first I was still working up till 3 day before I had her, I ended up going two days over my due date.  With the second baby, I had to get induced two week early due to the baby having several decels,  but because I had already started to dilate I was able to start off with pitocin, instead of having cervadil to soften cervix, so from start to finish both my children were delivered in under 10 hours.  Good Luck!

    I am jealous!  Not dropped, not effaced, no dilated! I have a PRUDE cervix!!!!

    Don't mean to be a party pooper but with DS I was 2cm dilated and 50% effaced at 37w, 38w, 39w AND 40w. At 40w5d, after 12 hours of labor I was only 4cm!

    Another debbie downer, w/ my DD I was 2-3 cm dialated from 37w on, and was induced 4 days late...
