FF Moms...how many ounces a day?

I didn't use to track how many ounces my LOs were eating, but recently I decided to. I'm trying to tackle some sleep issues so I want to compare how much they are getting compared to others.

We are usually around 25 ounces each, but I feel like that might be on the low side.

My guy eats about 32 oz a day and eats 5x a day. He just turned 4 months.

Liam takes between 6 - 7oz each feeding so we're at 32-35oz per day.

Lilly eats like a monster. Her bottles are 6 oz, although she sometimes leaves an oz. She still eats every 2-3 hours during the day (unless she is in the middle of a nap). I would say all in all she eats about 36 oz a day, give or take depending on her naps and how many times she leaves some.

Mine has increased from 25 to 28 - 30 oz per day over the last few weeks (since 3 months). He has gained weight just fine on this amount. He eats really often, 7 times per day, so smaller amounts -- 4 or 5 ounces. He spits up a lot so I've been afraid to increase his meal size. Also he likes to eat when he wakes up so I'm afraid to try to stretch his meals farther apart. We really need to discuss this at his 4-month appt.!

At our 4-month pedi said we don't need to feed every 3 hours. I thought by waiting longer they would eat more...but they aren't. So I am back on every 3 hours. DD just won't eat that much. DS eats only a few ounces more. They are gaining weight fine, but I am trying to make sure they are getting enough to last long stretches of sleep at night. Sometimes they sleep, sometimes they don't.

I think most babies my son's age/size are eating less often than that (5x tops) but we got into this pattern due to reflux. Awhile back we were feeding him 3 oz every 3 hours. This fit the "ounce per hour" amount our pedi said he needed at the time. Now we feed him more but he won't usually wait longer, perhaps just out of habit, but it could be a tough one to break! He usually does sleep/eat/play, and if he falls asleep early and wakes up early, he thinks it's time to eat, but sometimes it's been even less than 3 hours. Eek.

LO east more now that we switched to medium flow nipples. We like him to have 5 oz at night and before we changed nipples it didn't happen (he was so sleepy). Now of course he is spitting up when we feed him 5 oz. I wonder if he just can't handle that much at a time. He is on reflux meds and they don't seem to be helping right now, though he's a happy spitter, at least, not upset.

Anywhere between 30-36 oz in 24 hours.

24-25oz usually. Sometimes she'll get an extra 4oz bottle at night if she's really cranky and fighting sleep.

ETA: She gets BM and formula, but is 100% bottle fed.

Ty is at 32 oz but can go up to 40 during a growth spurt.

DS is eating about 30 oz a day, he eats 5 times a day also. He STTN as well.

Thanks!! I am going to push for them to finish bottles, it seems they are definitely on the low side compared to most. Maybe we will have some sleepers, soon!!
