So today, the art teacher from my school came out to paint a tree on the wall of the baby's room. I had showed him the bedding and the decals that come with the bedding. I was thinking cute tree, and then put the animal decals on the tree. Well the tree looks like one of the trees on the Wizard of Oz. You know the ones that threw the apples? That or a sh!t waterfall. It looks horrible. I am going to have to paint over it with primer, then repaint the whole wall. Wouldn't be a big deal, except that the wall is two toned. Blue on top and green on the bottom. I'm SO disappointed. The room was finished except for the tree, and now I'm going to give up on the tree idea. I have 17 days until my due date. I don't really want to have to do this, and my DH is HORRIBLE at painting so it will be me doing the whole job. Ugh.

Have you looked around for a tree decal? A friend of mine used a cute one, but I have no idea where he got it.

Ouch - I would have given them a picture or stencil or something to go by. Are you sure you can't just put enough decals or paint enough leaves/canopy over it to cover it up a little until you have more time to deal with it?

At BRU they have a nice tree wall decal. You can also look in any DIY store

Just look online for a full sized tree wall decal. Maybe even Etsy, a lot of people make decals and sell them and can even make them personalized or specified to your specific dimensions.

I want to see a picture of this Wizard of Oz tree--I am sorry you hate it so much! We have the tree decal from BRU and its really cute and was super easy to put up. Good luck with the repainting.
