He doesn't have a temperature, he won't take a paci, although he likes trying to put it in his mouth himself, and he hasn't napped all day even though DH has been trying.
I think he's trying to roll over because he's kind of flailing himself around whether he's on the ground or in the swing, or in my arms.
He's been whimpering and crying alternating with nursing and occasional smiles since I got home. He's chomping on everything in sight, but that's not new. Poor kid. I wish they came with diagnostic keys.
I just hope he gets some sleep tonight.
Re: Mr. Crankypants
teething?
With all three of my kids we blamed any unexplained cranky times on teething - mainly because sometimes we just never really figured it out. Kids teethe for months before they actually pop a tooth, which can mean they start feeling pain from teething when they're really tiny.
Anyway, "teething" is as good an explanation as any!
DD started teething at 3.5mo and the 1st 2 didn't pop til 7.5 mo
both of my kids are horrible teethers and it takes them a LONG time to cut them
