I'm sad :(

My mom just found out yesterday that she has macular degeneration in both eyes.  It is not sounding so good, and she'll probably lose most of her vision.  She still has to see another specialist on Friday, so she can see if there is any treatment that can be done.  She is so sad, and it just breaks my heart.

    :-(  I'm sorry.  I knew someone who had that and I know how devastating it can be.

    He's the single greatest thing I've done in my life and reminds me daily of how fun (and funny) life can be.  He's turned out pretty swell for having such a heartless and evil mother.

    I am so sorry to hear that.  My grandfather had MG. Is her's the wet or dry kind?
