so I decided to put a garden in near this old tree in our front yard (we rent and our apartment interior rocks, but the outside is most def. lacking) anyways, the past two days I have talked to more neighbors while putting in this garden than I have since we moved in almost a year ago!  It has been awesome. DH was at work today and I was out gardening away, loving that my mind was totally blank for once.  Our neighbor, Bobby, who lives behind us, walks up to me and hands me this little anklet.  It is made of a really thin tan twine with white stones on it, he says, "I got a few of these and thought maybe you'd want one.  It is a Wish Bracelet : you ask for a wish as you put it on and when it breaks off, the wish comes true."  *mind you this man knows nothing about me except that I have a little dog and I live next door).  Wow nice timing.  I could really use a wish-granting device about now.  Anyone else need one?

I just wanted to let everyone know that this forum has been such an amazing support for me that while putting on the anklet I wished really really hard for BFPs for everyone and a happy, healthy, sticky, take-home baby 9 months later.  I'll keep you posted for when it falls off. :) good luck everyone!

    OMG, blast to the past, I remember those from high school... mine was green!  Ahh, I want one again.  That was sweet of your neighbor...  it's the universe talking Wink

    Actually now that I'm thinking about it, I know Dogeared makes 'fancy' ones with charms (read fancy as pricey)...  I love their stuff though.

    Mine was blue! For money I think it was. I think I ended up having to cut it off because it just wouldn't break and it was starting to stink lol
