losing weight in 3rd tri?

Me & baby had a big growth spurt during the 2nd trimester. But in the last 2 weeks, I've actually lost weight. Is this normal?

I have read and my doctor said a few pounds lost at the end of pregnancy is very normal.

Your doctor will tell you if they are concerned. I lost weight at more appointments (or stayed the same and didn't gain or lose) than I have gained. No one seems overly concerned. Do you still have morning sickness? I had it into the third trimester and that played a big part in it.

I have brief moments of nausea, but it isn't bad enough to keep me from eating. Mainly it's just that my appetite seems to have decreased. Nowadays, eating feels like a job more than anything else. For example, I'll look at the clock & notice that I haven't eaten in 5+ hours because I didn't feel hungry, then fix myself something to eat because I think that "we've" been too long without food.

It's weird. In the 2nd tri., I had a great appetite. I liked food & food liked me. And gained a good amount, too.

I lost 3 pounds in the last three weeks of pregnancy with DD1 while she was still growing. I just couldn't eat - no space.

At my 32 week appointment I lost a pound and my fungal height is still at 29.5". If the fungal height doesn't get better next time, they may order another ultrasound. I was measuring ahead for a while but have trailed off. She said not to be worried...but yea right. My mom lost 6 pounds in her 3rd trimesters with both my brother and me...so it may just be that my family is a bunch of freaks...not news. Good luck!
