HELP! My 3 1/2 month old won't nap!

He STTN about a month or so ago, and will go 7 hr pretty regularly. But he fights his naps SO BAD. I'm trying to get him on a napping schedule for when I go back to work in  few weeks, but it's impossible because he refuses to sleep much during the day. HELP!

    I am sure you have tried the usual stuff, so I have nothing new to suggest.

    I did want to say that when you go back to work, chances are his schedule will most likely change. Especially if he is going to day care, he will be in new surroundings, a new crib, etc. and he will most likely establish a new schedule there.  So I wouldn't stress too much if he doesn't have a set schedule for when you go back to work.

    Oh, one thing to try that always works on my LO, we swaddle her, put her in the swing, and then when she fusses, run the vacuum. She doesn't like the white noise machine, but the sweeper she loves.  Go figure!

    Ethan fights his naps too.  Don't stress about it, like PP said, if LO is going to daycare, they will get him on a schedule there.  I try and follow their schedule on the weekends, and that seem to help with the naps....sometimes!

    Landon has always done this... I hold him sideways with his face in my chest, rock him back and forth and say "shhh shhh!" He screams for a minute, then he's out cold. The trick is to lay him down in the crib without him waking up.

    He's only like this during the day. At night we lay him down awake and he falls asleep.

    This was us! I was trying to train E to crib nap for the sitter and she REFUSED. Day 2 at the sitters and she crib naps for her like a champ. I bet daycare will get her on the right schedule :)
