Cute/Unique ways to someone to be a godparent?

I want to ask one of my close girlfriends to be Brody's godmother.  Is there any cute ways to do so?  Like a frame or poem or card or other idea?  I would love for it to be something for her to open.  Any ideas?

    You could pick up one of those plaques that says "godmother" or "godfather" with a poem or something along those lines.  I think they sell them at Hallmark stores.  You could give it to them as a gift from baby with a card asking them to be the godparents.

    The way i did was on mothers day i got my aunt a happy mothers day to my godmother.She thought i bought the wrong card cause shes my aunt not godmother but what i did inside the card was that i addressed as to m future godmother and signed in the bottom Sophia.

    It was cute cause i saw that she had to read it twice and then she realized it and she started to cry.

    I forgot but my plan was to give her a toy wand. I had a card with some Disney princesses on it. Doing the whole Fairy Godmother thing. Gave her the card but forgot the wand. She got it though.
