it's pretty much the same. I think puree is a little finer.
I buy whatever i can find that's organic and has nothing added. I like just apples (and some has water). i have no idea what "natural flavor" is, so i avoid it!
She eats applesauce. Sometimes I make it (just apples and water, maybe cinnamon), sometimes I buy the "natural" stuff at the store. The little store bought cups don't need to be refrigerated so they are super convenient to keep in the diaper bag in case we end up eating somewhere there isn't a good food option for her.

I've only ever given applesauce - I made it once and decided it was too big of a pain and just bought the plain, no additives stuff - I get the Whole Foods generic (365 Organics) unsweetened - the only ingredient is apples. I usually mix it with greek yogurt and cinnamon.
Re: apple puree or applesauce
I use to make it but lately I have been buying Earth?s Best or whatever organic is available

Go Phils!!
Apple sauce - Mott's Natural (no sugar added).
I don't think there is a difference outside of the extra sugar - a jar of applesauce is cheaper.
What's the difference?
DD has only had applesauce that I made until recently. She does have the applesauce pouches while we are out and about.
