bottle storage

At my house, there is a mass influx of bottles and all of the goodies that go along with pumping in ziplock storage bags overflowing the cabinet above the kitchen sink- it's a disorganized, cluttered mess and makes bottle washing that much more of a PITA.  What do you store your bottles in?

Re: bottle storage

  • We have a pantry, so we got one of these:

to put in there. Top drawer is all bottles and pump parts.

  • I store everything on the bottle drying rack.  It's all being used pretty frequently, so putting it away somewhere else never occurred to me!

On a somewhat related note, I just realized 3 days ago that the Dr. Brown's bottles we use are compatible with my pump!  I can pump into them during the workday, add a nipple at night, and they're good to go for the next day!  Before I was pumping into the bottles that came with the pump, and then transferring to DB's at night.  Totally saves a step!

  • we too have a pantry so the bottles are all put on one shelf. They are already assembled. I have a small pump so the 2 collection bottles and the boob attachment stay on the bottle rack on the counter and the actual motor part stays on the other counter where we eat. Once DD is weaned then the pump will get packed away and put in the basement( the end of the month)

  • I put the bottles on the kitchen counter. The pump parts on the drying rack and the lids to the bottles in one of my mugs in a cabinet. lol

  • Everything is either on the drying rack, in the munchkin dishwasher rack, or in the dishwasher!
  • I hate it, but the bottles and parts are always on the counter - either dirty and waiting to be cleaned or they are in the fridge.  I think for about an hour a day I have nothing on my counters.

  • The bottles are in a constant rotation.  I wash bottles/pump parts at night and they dry on a towel on the counter overnight.  Every morning, I pack up bottles for daycare, my pump bag (with bottles) and then put away the other bottles in a cabinet.  I don't like to leave things on the counter.

  • Well clearly we have too much cr*p b/c not only do they sit in the dishrack overnight they still overflow the cabinet, too.  Thanks for the tips!

  • Ours have previously been on the drying rack or on the counter.  Just a few days ago I cleaned a shelf off in a cabinet and that is where they are now.
