I think we're ready to give DD some dairy. She's tolerating it great in my diet, but what's the best thing to give to her first? Does it matter or can I just go all out and give her cow's milk?
Our allergist told us to feed her whatever, just be careful not too much the first couple of days as her digestive system got used to it. We ended up going to noodles and having mac and cheese, and she did great. That was her first time having dairy and she was 4 years old.
I've heard Yogurt or Cheese first... but again I think that's one of those things that vary's per doctor. We actually tried Soy yogurt (that had live dairy cultures in it) but was a total fail for us at 14 months. We won't challenge again till 2.
