Hi everyone!! Most of you have already seen this on FB, but I just wanted to check in and let everyone know that my son Caelan was born on Wednesday June 1, 2011! My water broke when I was at work on Tuesday and I went to my OB appt that evening where they confirmed that it was indeed my water. DH and I headed to the hospital. I wasn't having contractions I could feel so they started me on pitocin to strengthen them. But then the baby had 2 incidents of his heart rate dropping below 100 overnight so they turned the pit off and started talking c-section if he had another decel. Luckily he didn't! They turned the pit back on in the morning and then things got going. Around 11am-ish I got the epidural and then was finally able to catch a couple hours of sleep. When I woke up, it was time to push! About an hour and a half later, Caelan Vaughn was born! He was 7lbs 6.7 oz and 20 inches long. We are totally in love with him and his cuteness!!BFP#1: 01/10, M/C 6w
