DH has a new status-roomate

Ugh! I swear I'm done asking for him to help me around the house or with anything for that matter. After I spent all day cleaning the house and fixing our A/C (seems like the hubby's job right??) I ask him to do ONE thing, take out the trash. Did he do it before he came to bed? Of course not. I was super pissed when I found it this morning after the cats had shredded the bag and trash was strewn all over the kitchen because there were scraps of food in it. We've had a major roach problem this year so I stressed how important it was to make sure the trash got taken out. I guess he is just fine living in a pig-stye. Well I hope he is just as happy living without the perks of a wife and regular sex!

    Yes Sounds like my H, it's the one thing that I ask him to do. He uses it every morning to toss his coffee grinds doesn't he smell it??!! He also put a dish in the sink after I told him to put it in the dishwasher, he said it needed to soak...I told him he was going to be sleeping with it next. Ditto on the perks!

    I am also impressed that you were able to fix your a/c unit!

    I too am impressed with your ability to fix the AC unit :)

    While we're venting about husbands... I want to add that my DH is in the dog house too! On SUnday I asked him to help me wash the bottles... I mean I wasn't even asking him to wash them by himself... he said "yes" of course, but because he was too busy playing a computer game, he didn't come to help me until I was almost done!!! Well that night he injured his knee and ankle (thats another story, and no I didnt beat him LOL) so yesterday he's like I'll wash the bottles... but then he's all in his new knee brace the Dr. gave him walking and moaning to the kitchen to wash the bottles, so I gave in and helped him (it's either I wash and he rinses, or the other way around)
