Coed Chic and Modern Baby Shower Venue locations?

Hello,

I am looking to find venues in the DMV area that is fun, has an outdoor area and can be both gender friendly. I would love to have a girly tea house baby shower party. But the boyfriend and his friends I am sure would not enjoy it every much. Does anyone have any places that would be great for a coed baby shower that is fun, entertaining, and has great food?!

I don't plan to do the traditional baby games just more of a lounge, chill open gift good time baby shower. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am thinking about 30-60 ppl.

    I don't know if they have an outdoor space, but Continental Pool Lounge in Rosslyn hosts private events of that size and is what I would consider "modern."

    Not so modern, but would be good for a group that size and has an outdoor area - Buffalo Billiards in DC.

    You might also check out the group of restaurants owned by DC Seafood.  They're in the Georgetown Harbor and have beautiful views.  They have a lot of different options in terms of dining styles and different group sizes.  The restaurants include Tony & Joe's, Nick's Riverside Grill, and Cabanas.  Cabanas is probably the most "modern" of the group.

    And check on Open Table.  You have the ability to search for restaurants with event spaces.
