Spent the night at ER with Brady!

Last night I ended up taking Brady to the ER ! His hernia (in his groin) was pushing out so far it looked like it was going to rip through his skin! 7 hours at the ER they pushed it back in. They gave me two choices! 

1.  Call surgeon on call have them come in and admit him. Catch here was that he had dinner at 7pm (because of a very long late nap) and we would have to wait until at least till late afternoon for it. They couldn't even promise they could get him. Which would mean he couldn't eat or drink at all today.

2. Give him something for pain and call surgeon today and move up his consult to this week and hope to get in the OR by middle of next week.

 

We went with option 2!

 

Needless to say I have been up pretty much since yesterday morning (only got 3 hours of sleep since than) so I am exhausted. Brady is too!

    I did need a nap big time! Thankfully my uncle was home today and only lives a mile away! He came over at about 9am and said until I woke up 2pm!  He took care of the kids! WHen I woke up, he had all three napping!
