I am a sucker for Applebee's and HuHot! Those always seem to be my go-to places. When I was pregnant, I got Applebee's To Go all the time (oriental chicken wrap yummyness).
My favorite fast food place is either Subway or Wendy's. I have each one at least once a week!
What about you????
Re: Where is your favorite place to go out to eat?
Applebees also (but chicken fajita roll up) and Cancun (an authentic Mexican place).
Fast food - Chipotle & Skyline (Cincinnati style chili)
Do you mean just fast food or chain?
If not then Jade Fire for sushi.
If so then Carrabas.
I love Olive Garden or Ryan's (I'm not sure if their are any others around).
Fast food, Panda Express, Orange Chicken!
What the heck is a HuHot?
My fave place was Subway when I was preggo and we still go there sometimes. Now I crave spicier foods--so spicy chicken from Wendy's, a Chipotle burrito or an Angry Whopper from Burger King.
ETA: For a sit-down meal, a local Indian restaurant.
Out to eat, Copeland's Cheesecake Bistro. Holy crap their crawfish ravioli!
Fast food, a place called Raising Canes. I ate it way too much when I was pregnant, and still eat it at least once a week usually.
For chains, Houlihan's and California Pizza Kitchen are my current favorites. And Fogo de Chao for special occasions.
We mostly eat at a lot of local places, though.
I never heard for HuHot, but I Googled and I do love me some Mongolian bbq.
When I was pregnant, the smell of Subway made me SO SICK.
Carabbas for Italian, Grille 54 for sushi, Flemings for steak, and Burger 21 for burgers.
Favorite fast food? Mcdonalds. No on beats their fries....Oh, and I wished they served breakfast 24 hours a day, because I always crave an egg mcmuffin
I just choked.
I hate almost all restaurants.
I crumbled and sat in Olive Garden the other night. Best thing they had was the daqueri. Their food is horrible.
The BF loves Applebees. We go to a little Italian place sometimes nearby but it's not a chain. He also loves Chipotle, and we went to elevation burger yesterday. For just his meal and two shakes... 17 friggin bucks. Crazy.
Anyway... yeah. I don't like many restaurants. It's almost NEVER worth it, and that boil-in-bag chain food nearly makes me stroke out.
Word.
I think I'm jaded though because I know what the food cost is, I know how to make it and then I look at the price and think "ROBBERY"!
While I was pregnant, I was standing in line at Subway and before I even ordered my sandwich I had to go throw up. I came back out and my chest was all red and eyes were watering. Real hot.
Chains : Lately it has been O'Charley's because they have free kids meals and we don't have to feel dumb if DD doesn't eat her meal. Plus I really like their rolls.
Fast food: Steak n Shake or 5 guys.
We also really like a local italian / pizza joint
Cheesecake Factory! But it's like an hour away so we don't go very often.
For fast food, I like Wendy's
We always eat at local places but for fast food I love a good burger from In N Out.
Oh, Love Montage, I haven't been there since HS. It was a date spot for the kids in my HS. H and I love The Still House (an Irish style pub in OC) and Bugatti's (the ORIGINAL one in West Linn, not the chain).
Fast food: defintely Burgerville!
ETA: Eating out is a big no no for H and I lately. We have way too many bills to pay. I've been using the crock pot on the daily! Love that thing.
Texas Roadhouse - for a sit down meal
McD's or Wendy's - fast food
This too!
I'm normally a lurker, so somehow butting in on this makes me feel vaguely stalkerish... but anyway, yeah, there is one on 86th. We used to eat there for high school fieldtrips, and one time I got hit on by a man who was about 60. He offered to buy me a drink.
My favorite sit-down restaurant is probably either 42nd Street Oyster House, Angus Barn (when money is no matter), or Biaggi's. I think those are all just local, not chains.
I'm not a huge fan of fast food, but if I had to pick, I'd say 5 Guys is probably my favorite.
Yum and Yum!!
Ohhhh how I miss being able to get Skyline! The cans just aren't as good
Cheesecake Factory.
Pei Wei is a favorite.
