Our 1st crib was a hand-me-down one that broke. We are in the market for a new one, but I'm looking to spend $100-$150 max. What cribs do you recommend? I already put the Graco ones mentioned in the other post on my list. TIA
We got cribs for both kids at IKEA. Both were about $130 and easy to assemble. And they both became little toddler beds.
The only reason we needed a second crib for T is because I developed a bad habit of getting in the toddler bed with E and one of the side rails split. I don't think that would happen with regular use though. Imagine that...a crib not meant to hold the mama and the kid...
Check out JC Penneys - We got a PBK Kendell knock-off to keep at my mom's house for about $100. We ordered it online and got it delivered to the store at no cost.
No recs but just fyi new crib safety standards start at the end of June. But if you don't mind that, there are great deals on cribs right now. since pretty much none of the existing cribs meet the new standards everywhere is trying to get rid of them. We considered buying a floor model at a local store but decided to wait for one that meets the new standards.
Re: S/O of the crib post below. What cribs do you recommend around the $100 price range?

I have no personal experience but I'd start here

At the top of the list is even a Graco, normally 200+ on sale for less than $90 with free shipping!
