Success after IF

Help...ohss question?

Cd8, 13follies but only 3 were 8,8, and 10. E2...85... I'm massively bloated crampy, hurts to stand. With an e2 so low, do I just need to settle down? I've been so worried about ohss, I'm new to this stim stuff.

Re: Help...ohss question?

  • My OHSS didn't show up until after trigger. I would think with an E2 that low that it wouldn't be OHSS, but I am not a dr, so I don't really feel like I can say.

I will say that I always got bloated from stims....first IVF I wore a belly band because my pants were so uncomfy. Closer to the end of stims I was uncomfortably "full" feeling. I told MH that the eggs were done cooking and needed to come out.

If it's really painful I would mention it to your RE.

  • Are you doing an IUI?  (that is what it says in your siggie)

You have a LOT of follies for an IUI-- hopefully you are doing an IVF, I will assume that.

If this is your first experience, it could just be getting used to how you feel cooking that many follies-- because if you are uncomfortable now, it is going to get really bad as you get some 18s in there and an E2 of 1000+.  If it is really that bad, I think it is worth mentioning to your RE.  I don't think you are at any risk of OHSS at this point but things have a way of taking off pretty quickly so you never know.

     Good luck!!!

    This.

My symptoms didn't really show up until after the ER.  But, I was super sensitive leading up until that point.  So much so that just going over a speed bump was extremely painful.

Definitely call your nurse and describe what your feeling.  They'll give you some guidelines on what to do.  I very nearly missed my ET because of my OHSS.  So, stay on top of it!

After THREE years, our IVF miracle is here!!!

I'm better today. It's an iui cycle..evenly got three viable follies so far.
