XP: Any NW Indiana people?
We're visiting DH's parents in NW Indiana right now and we're looking for ideas to do with DS and man it's stinkin' hot here, so sitting on the beach is only lasting about an hour. Any suggestions?? We hit Amish Acres yesterday and the outlets, and I think we might go to bellaboos today, but we're here through the end of the week.

Chicago is 40 minutes away and there is TONS of stuff to do there! We like the Lincoln Park Zoo and admission is free. Where in NW Indiana are you?

Cool! Thanks for the suggestions! We were in Chicago last week (my parents) and are in Gary this week. So we're trying to find stuff fairly close - we might try Michigan City zoo or something up there - DH said the lighthouse was cool.
Oh, and if anyone is near 80/94 in the Lake Station area, Bellaboos was really cool and cheap (cost us $9.50 for 2 adults + DS).
