progress at first cervical check:)

I know this doesn't necessarily mean anything but my DR said it is great to start having progress around this time. I've been having a lot of BH contractions and cramping roughly 1-2 days at a time each week. I'm currently 30% effaced and 1cm dilated. At least I know my body is working and that if induction has to occur, it would go smoother. She did say that it doesn't look like I'll be one of those who goes past my due date eitherBig Smile Baby girl is also head down and all her parts are where I figured they were due to her crazy activities. She even 'butted' the doctor as she cleaned up the gel on my belly.

    Ahhhh that's exciting! My first check is tomorrow and I am so anxious to see what happens! They called this morning though because my O/B has some thing to go to and can't be at my appointment, so I have her assistant again. Boooo I haven't seen my actual OB in weeks!

    Thats awsome.  I have my first check on Thursday and I am interested to see where I am too.  I know you can be dialated for weeks but I am in sales and travel in the car so it would be good to know that if things are starting I can atleast use that as an excuse to cut down on field visits (my boss is a man that is very lady talk skitish so he wouldn't know the difference).    :)

    That's awesome!!!  Yay for progress!  I know it's getting hot here so I'm sure you're glad that you won't be going much past your EDD.

    Aaah I feel like its all starting now, I know it may be awhile, but once you start talking about how effaced and dilated you are it's starting IMO!!
