Midwest City Dr?

Hey, recommend your Ob/Gyn! I'm having a horrendous time finding a doctor. I'm on SoonerCare, and everyone I call treats me like I've got the plague. I mean, I ask if they accept SoonerCare, and they say "Yes, we do, but we'll have to call you back" and never do. The first Dr. I went to was unbelievably rude and didn't hardly pause to discuss my pregnancy with me, she just gave me a packet and shuffled me out the door. The next Dr. made me wait for nearly an hour and a half, while he took care of several other patients who had later appointments than I did. I've don't think I've ever been so mad. So if you've got a decent doctor in or around Midwest City, who accepts SoonerCare, let me know.

Re: Midwest City Dr?

  • Renaissance Women's Center takes it.  They're on Douglas just south of SE 15th St.  They have several physicians at that location, and I think a majority of them are OB/GYNs and take SoonerCare.

I had a good experience with them & I used them during both of my pregnancies (2008-2010).
