recommend a B&B or inn in Southern Maine, please!

My husband and I are going to visit his parents in Sanford, ME next month, and are going to get away for 1 night to celebrate our 5th anniversary.  Does anyone have a favorite B&B or inn on the coast in S. ME that they can recommend?

    I'm guessing this is farther north than you want to go, but my family used to go the Craignair Inn in Spruce Head all the time and LOVED it there. It was really beautiful, lovely innkeepers that became family friends (although I have no idea if they still own it), close to other fun stuff to do. I haven't been since I was a preteen though (DH and I were supposed to go in 2005 but we got sick and had to cancel the last leg of our road trip that would have brought us there).

    This is near Kittery, ME.  A beautiful area full of outlets, restaraunts and close to the York Zoo.  I'm not sure of specific places but look up Kittery area, you will not be dissapointed :)

    In Goose Rocks Beach right outside Kennebunkport.. The Tides Inn! Its one of the nicest inns on the beach ad the beach is gorgeous.. Anything in Kennebunkport is also nice! Have fun..I spent every summer as a kid in Maine love it.

    The Cliff House in Cape Neddick/Ogunquit is beautiful...it is more of a small hotel but has a nice inn feeling. The 2 Village Square Inn in Ogunquit is also very nice as well as 16 Beach Street B&B.  We've summered there for years and its a nice little town with a beautiful beach.

    So it's not a B&B, but we stayed at The Union Bluff for our wedding.  It's right on the ocean, lots of restaurants and next to shops and right on the beach.  You would LOVE LOVE LOVE it.

    Sorry I'm late on this, but I had to check w/ my mom - they have stayed at the Chapman Cottage in York Harbor and loved it.  However, it's not on the water.
    Childhood cancer (DH) + chemo + radiation = 0 sperm.
    LO #1 - 1 unmedicated/self-monitored IUI w/ donor sperm.
    LO #2 - 1 m/c, 2 BFNs, 4th IUI worked (unmedicated/self-monitored with new donor sperm).
    Life is beautiful!
