I'm looking for something to put on LO's head while we're out in the sun. She *hates* (HATES!) her hat and tries to rip it off her head every chance she can get. So, I'm resorting to finding something to spray on her fine hair.
I see a brand called Baby Blanket scalp sunscreen -- have any of you tried that? Or do you have any other suggestions? Thanks!!
Re: sunscreen spray for baby's hair?
As the mother of an irish baby with very little hair, I feel your pain. G has gotten a little better about wearing hats this summer but last year it was a constant battle.
I think the aerosoles are the biggest concern for inhaling (and honestly, if you are doing it above their head, I think the risk is low....AND sum damage is definitely more dangerous) BUT, I would try to find a pump style sunscreen if you can....and I don't think it is the end of the world if it is for adults opposed to babies. Maybe I'm being a crappy mom but I am just so much more worried about sun damage. I cannot fathom the greasy mess if you used a lotion.
