fb question

If you do a search for someone, does fb later recommend they "friend" you or suggest they know you? I'm curious to search for someone, but they would absolutely know I was snooping if I was recommended to them, and I'm not someone they'd want to be friends with.

    I'm pretty sure FB only suggests friends or recommends friends if you have mutual friends.

    someone showed up on my recomendations that i had no friends in common with, had never searched, and only knew when I had a different last name.  I've always wondered if it was because he searched for my maiden name and a lot of my friends knew me with my maiden name. 

     

    I can't confirm or deny but have always wondered.

    I think it also trolls your email contacts. I got a friend suggestion for a guy I went on one date with in 2002.  He was in hotmail as "safe."

    Ack...man I hate the idea of people I've searched and snoop on might be getting me as friend recommendations.
