Fountains at Piedmont Park

Has anyone been to the new area of piedmont park with the fountains?  I just realized it existed (I live across the street so not sure how I missed it) and was thinking of taking adam this afternoon to play in the water.  Just wondering if anyone had tried them out yet.

    Did you end up going? We took Bailey on saturday morning and he loved it! I plan on taking him again. I'd probably go int he morning through b/c it was getting hot out there at 10am when we were there. I loved that they built bathrooms right there at it too.

    I did end up going and they are so cool.  It's in the new part of the park so if you are at the parking deck you go left towards the new stuff (oposite of the tennis court area).  I don't think anyone knows its there becuase there was no one in that area.  I loved they built bathrooms right next to the area.  We will be going again soon.  He loved it!

    Glad you had fun!  We went I think the second week after it opened and were the ONLY people there for a while.  (This was a Saturday afternoon too.)  It is beautiful and lots of fun!  C is a little young but still enjoyed sticking his toes in.

    It took us a while to find it too. We started going towards the dog park then had to ask one of the cops riding around where it was. If you park in the deck, park on level 2 where there is a walk through gate. It puts you out right near the big field that leads down to the fountians. There is also a refreshment stand down there that sells water, drinks, snacks etc.
