Success after IF

Anyone ever have a 10 cell embie?

On Day 3? I know they should be 6-8 cells, so is a 10 cell abnormal?

Re: Anyone ever have a 10 cell embie?

  • I had a 9 cell (most likely Anna). So that is close! :) I don't think it is common, but nothing to be worried about. If anything, I would take it as a good sign!
Brought to you by IVF, ICSI, limited fert, and oocyte cryopreservation.

  • Ive transfered a 10 cell on two different cycles.  On our last succesful cycle, one of the 3 we transferred was a 10 cell.  I thnk 6-8 cells are 'preferable', but my doc did not say 10 cells was bad or anything!!
