What baby tub/sling/etc do you like?

I was looking into getting a different tub or sling for Isabella... I'm not sure if we want to do a full size baby bathtub again and our kitchen sink in our new house isn't as big as our old one.  I was thinking of getting some type of bathtub support or sling. Any suggestions for what you like?

With Ethan we had this:  (still have)

  • We have the infant to toddler tub from The First Years and it served it's purpose perfectly. We used the sling until she had good control of her head, then the reclining seat until she was pretty good sitting up, and then the sitting-up seat until just recently when she started standing up in the tub. I liked that it had the 3 different options.

This, using it with Serena too but I like to sit it in the tub.

when she was tiny but once she was sitting up I just started having her bathe with me... I usually give her a bath at night then DH takes her and gets her lotioned and in her jammies while I take a relaxing bath or shower for me.

She doesn't need me in the tub or anything but I just feel better in case she slides or anything.  We tried using the infant tub but I found it bulky and sort of useless.  I may change my mind this time though, who knows!

  • We had the infant to toddler tub too and it worked fine for Nicholas when he was SO tiny. We used it probably up until 6 months but honestly we always took Nicholas in the shower with one of us more often than bathing him. He is just too squirmy and never did great in the little tub and it was just faster and easier to hold him in the shower.
