    TTCing Questions 1. What cycle are you on? Waiting to O or 2WW? In the middle of our O window. 2. What are you looking forward to this week? I have lots of shopping to do this weekend. I have 3 events next week that are semi-formal. I love any excuse to shop! 3. Did you/do you have problems with DH feeling pressured to perform while TTC? If so, how did you help ease his mind? My DH feels like the TTC thing adds pressure and he is having a hard time with that. He doesn?t like that there is now a specific purpose to sexy time, as opposed to just for fun and being spontaneous. My question 4. Questions for next week? Nope

    Pregnant Questions 1. What week are you in? Any new aches or pains?  Just getting bigger and bigger!  He's still up high though so with 4 weeks to go, I'm pretty confident we're going to hit 40+ weeks. 2. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment?  Wednesday - Group B strep and first internal. 3. What are you looking forward to this week?  Picking up my new (to me) car!!  BMW Wagon for this mama!  Selling the Corolla...and the VW...and the truck (we have far too many vehicles!) 4. Questions for next week?  What aspect of labor are you dreading most? 5. What # LO is this for you? How many are you planning to have?  This is #3 for me, #1 for DH - I've got DD17 and DS15 6. For people that have gone into labor before; when did you "know" that this was it? Like I said, I was induced last time so I'm so interested/excited to go into labor on my own hopefully. I don't remember exactly but I remember thinking "is *this* it? and laying in bed casually timing what I suspected to be contractions and getting more excited as they were getting longer and closer together and I started to realize that *yes* this IS it! (DD still took 72 hours to come...induced 10 days late with DS - I had ctx every 20 minutes with him for a MONTH before being induced).  I'm just as anxious with #3 that I won't know when I'm in labor...that I won't be SURE... 7. When did you start seriously looking into daycare options? With 4 weeks to go I still haven't seriously started looking...I really need to but for some reason it's one thing I haven't done yet. 8. What do you do when your husband drives you crazy? DH has been wonderful so far - patient beyond belief with my "preganancy STUPID" and "can't remember ANYTHING" issues.  Good lord, I'm driving myself nuts with how disorganized I am (and how many times I ask the same questions over and over again - I can't remember anything for more than 5 minutes it seems!)

  Pregnant Questions

  1. What week are you in? Any new aches or pains?

  Week 28 - My hips pop like crazy! I think I am starting to waddle as well. Not so much because of being super big, but because my feet and hips always hurt. The biggest "ache" is getting used to the weather down here. Oh how I miss Seattle. Yesterday was 108, and was still 98 degrees at 7-8pm last night.  

  2. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment?

  This pregnancy brain can't even remember!!  

  3. What are you looking forward to this week?

  Crib shopping with my MIL.. okay.. maybe not looking forward to it. But, yay crib!

  4. Questions for next week?

  How do you keep up with the swelling in your legs and feet? I feel like a balloon towards the end of the day. I drink about 4-6 water bottles a day.  

  5. What # LO is this for you? How many are you planning to have?

  This is #2 for DH, #1 for me. We are planning on having at least two more after this little one. (But DH says we will try until we have a boy. Haha. I am DONE at three more after this one.) 

  6. For people that have gone into labor before; when did you "know" that this was it? Like I said, I was induced last time so I'm so interested/excited to go into labor on my own hopefully. ?seattlestef

  I will be staying home, no daycare needed so far!

  I honestly lock myself in the bathroom. Usually we each do not mind if the other comes in when showering. So, when the door gets locked and the other is in the shower we both know that means "alone time" is needed. If I do that to him, he knows to make sure to give me a little extra space that day.

    Pregnant Questions 1. What week are you in? Any new aches or pains?   19, and nope I'm feelin pretty good for now! 2. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment?  Not for another week, and it will just be the same ol same ol, ultrasound, belly measurement, blood pressure etc. 3. What are you looking forward to this week?  Shopping for these baby boys, and going through Holden's old clothes. 4. Questions for next week? 5. What # LO is this for you? How many are you planning to have?  These guys are #'s 2 and 3.  Our plan was to have 3 but spaced out by about 3 years.  Now we may just go for 4 since we're already out-numbered and I cant imagine this being the last time I get to be pregnant. 6. For people that have gone into labor before; when did you "know" that this was it? Like I said, I was induced last time so I'm so interested/excited to go into labor on my own hopefully. ?seattlestef  Im probably not much help, but I knew I was in labor when my water broke! 7. Starting to have occasional back and feet pain ... usually only if I have a really busy long day.  Feel pretty great overall!   2. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment?6/13... we will find out if we're having a GIRL or a BOY! 3. What are you looking forward to this week?Massage appointment 4. Questions for next week?Would any ladies be interested in getting together for a little outing? Maybe a 1 hour visit at a coffee shop? Might be nice to put faces to posts... 5. What # LO is this for you? How many are you planning to have?We are planning on having 2 kids -- this will be our first. 7. When did you start seriously looking into daycare options? ?AmieeJoMy mom will be doing daycare for atleast 1 year... so we'll have a while to think about it. 8. What do you do when your husband drives you crazy? I tell DH I'm going to punch him at least once a day, he's driving me insane! -IkesHawaiian06I take a bath (and lock the door). Or, I go for a walk / get out of the house for an hour.

  I try to leave the house for an errand or just go in the other room to read or veg out...

  As much as I tried for it to feel spontaneous it just never worked.  I just tried to mix it up more than usual but he always knew when it was "go time".  I just never let him feel like it HAS to happen this month, more like, now is the best time if we are going to do it this month, etc.

  Thank you for answering. I'm trying to be laid back about it. I'm not even temping right now, just charting AF. I want to get pg so bad that I feel like we are missing our opportunity if we don't take full advantage of my fertile days. I feel like he is making such a thing of it in his head that I can't mention it at all. I was really hoping to have a partner in the TTC thing, as far as being able to discuss it and understand what we need to do, and when we need to do it. But I think it's too much for him and he wants to just be off bc and hope something happens. I'm kind of disappointed.

  I never really discussed it much with my H b/c I felt like he wouldn't want to know all the details or want him to feel more pressured.  Do you use OPK at all?  With both of my pregnancies (first was a miscarriage) we only BD one time in the "optimal time" so don't feel like you have to BD everyday or multiple times a day even though I'm sure it feels like way better odds!  If you feel the need to vent/talk about it let me know   I completely understand how you feel!

  I haven't discussed the details with DH either. Heck I've learned waaay more than I ever wanted to from reading TCOYF. LOL! I did want to at least be able to tell him when it's the optimal time. I guess that just isn't my reality. I haven't used OPK, but that may be my next step. Thank you for the support. I may very well need someone to talk to and vent to.

  2. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment? I can't remember but nothing special happens at it
  3. What are you looking forward to this week? I'm meeting with a couple to discuss possibly photographing their wedding this August!

I suppose I should include that there are a few others who are driving me insane too, so it's not just him, but I just don't know what to do with him when he's annoying me.

This time, I think DH felt a little more pressured to, but I tried to just relax and let things happen with both of us. I think it was different this time around too because our sex life took a serious dip having a kid in our lives, so any time I wanted to have sex, he was all for it.

  Pregnant Questions

  1. What week are you in? Any new aches or pains?

  Week 37, full term! Still really sore hips during the night and when I wake up in the morning, otherwise feeling good.

  2. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment? Wednesday, I'm on weekly appointments now. I had GBS last week, so I'm assuming this will just be the usual weigh, pee in a cup, measure. And of course hear the heartbeat, my favorite part!
  

  3. What are you looking forward to this week?

  Play date with a friend Friday, BBQ with friends Saturday, going to see Jesus Christ Superstar on Sunday.

  What's one thing you'll miss about being pregnant?

  This is #2 for us, and we'll stop at 2. If we were younger and richer I'd have 3 or 4, but it's not meant to be. We are blessed to be able to have 2 I know!

  My water broke, and there was no doubt that was what had happened! Then contractions start almost right away.

  With DS I looked while pregnant and found a center, we reserved a spot, then I got a layoff notice right before I was scheduled to go back to work, so we let the spot go. Then two weeks later they told me I wasn't laid off after all. We scrambled and ended up with a home day care that has been great. For this one, I can bring her with me through December. I have a potential plan for January but I need to see what happens with my hours.
