I don't have any tatoos and neither does DH. We joke that we are now the 'rebels' by not having one!
Still...I always thought it would be sweet to get a heart on my foot, one heart for each baby. Either in the color of their birth stone or pink for girls and blue for boys.
Kind of like This, but with pink and blue hearts.
So what tatoo would you get or show off what you have!!!
Re: S/O: Tatoo
I love that idea...of using their birthstone color and a symbol. So cute!
obviously, my tattoo picture is below.

I am waiting to get a tattoo after we finish having children. But I always wanted to get a vine tattoo with the birth flowers and their birth dates of my kids on the leaves. Kind of like this:
I don't have any but I have been thinking of getting one. I like the idea of getting the Detroit D. It can be for where I'm from and for Dominic.

I have home written in arabic on my ankle (I grew up in the middle east). I'm planning on getting a heart on my wrist for each child. I just haven't decided if i'll put their initials in each heart.

I have two ridiculous tattoos that I got when I was seventeen and a wild child...they're coming off in the next 5 years. One is a big black nautical star (tramp stamp) and the other is the chinese symbol for love on my hip (at least I hope that is what it means...it probably means "slutty girl gets dumb tattoos" or something)
I have one that I like on my right foot. It is a purple lotus flower that covers the entire top of my foot. I'm getting a pink owl tattooed onto my left shoulder as soon as I can sort out the size and details when we're done breast feeding (so, 11 months from now). Also have an arm band planned for my lower right arm, it will be in white so not too noticeable, but a repeating pattern of Buddha meditating on the lotus.
my SIL has really cool tattoos for her kids- I wish I could find a picture...
it's a button for each child- different color/style- on the inside of her forearm. Her grandfather owned a button factory, so it's go double meaning
My first one- My mom survived Breast Cancer
My third and fourth- the anchor is a Navy Cheifs anchor in memory of my late father. The night he died I saw a shooting star over my house and I have always had an obession for them!
My second is ruined now (from c/s) so I will not post that one
Its a small shooting star.
this is my twin sister and my tattoo... we are gemini twins and she loves moons and stars and i like flowers
this is my first tattoo my brother drew it and i got it for passing my lvn boards
and i cant find a pic of my other tattoo but its a purple orchid, red cross and a nurses hat i got it when i passed my RN boards. i want to get one for dj but havent decided on one yet
I'm on the left, next to my brother and sister. My youngest brother was just a tad young to get his when we did, but he will. It is our family crest, that's my maiden name at the bottom. My Nonno (Italian) found the crest in the 60's when he did a family tree back several hundred years. We got it in honour of him about 3 years ago now. He just passed in February of this year.
My DH has been talking about getting a tattoo of LO's name, but I reminded him that he would have to do that for all future children as well to be fair! I like the idea of baby footprints somewhere, but I'm not sure I'm quite ready for more ink yet.
and I have a HUGE pumpkin Blossom and Emmaline's name on my left leg.
It took me 10 years to decide what I wanted and where. I got this a year before DD's birth, almost to the day, I love it, but it hurt like a mofo, so I don't know if I would get another one for LO. The three points of the celtic knot remind me of me, DH and DD, among other things.
