If your LO has GI issues

(just a little recap, Asher can only eat apples, squash and carrots) I give him freeze dried apples because it is the only non slippery finger food he can eat. The last 4 days, every poopy diaper (which is 4-5 times a day, yikes) is full of the apples, looking just the way they went in. He has been eating these daily for at least a month, so this is a new thing. Why do you think that is happening?! We see the allergist tomorrow, so I'll ask, but it just seems weird. I know this happens occasionally, even to adults, but every diaper, full??? I stopped giving them to him!

2 of my 3 have leaky gut as do I. For my DD and I, it was caused by yeast overgrowth. Many traditional drs don't believe in it but we have had all the testing done to show otherwise. My DD had extremely high candida numbers as well as extremely high amounts of ecoli. We have done a lot of gut healing with probiotics, digestive enzymes, etc. Have you considered a stool test for your dc? Is he on any type of enzyme therapy? It's been a life saver in our family, especially for my DS whose issues were caused by viral infections in his gut post vax reaction.

Our first appt with the GI is at the end of the month, so I plan on asking a bunch of questions and seeing where to go from there. After the appt, I want to start looking into natural remedies to help his tummy, but I am so afraid his tummy won't tolerate it or he'll have a reaction.

I would HIGHLY recommend reading this book before you go in. That book rocked my world and brought so much healing to our family!

Does your dc see a chiropractor? I know if I miss an adjustment I start having more undigested food issues, as do my children. It is usually the result of the lower back being out of line.

Thanks for the link! Ash is only 10 mo, I have never thought of going to a chiro with him. I am taking a holistic health class and it is really opening my eyes to other options for healing!

We were always very, very conservative and pro traditional medicine until it failed us. When my ds reacted to vaccines he was in children's hospital for awhile. They told us there was nothing they could do for him and sent us home to "love him as he was". We turned to natural medicine, detoxed him, restored his little body that was shutting down and we got him back. He went from looking brain damaged, having trouble walking, a huge speech loss, sensory off the charts, self injuring, screaming 10 hours a day little boy to being 99% healed. Alternative, natural medicine saved his life.

Chiro has been really big for our family. If the spine is out of line, the nerves traveling from the spinal cord to the different organs of the body can't do their job correctly. It's like a nerve block of sorts. Once those nerves flow properly, the body can function better. Many people have their newborns adjusted within days of birth bc the birth process itself is traumatic for the body and tough on the spine. Our chiro went out of town for 2 weeks and all 3 of my kids were asking for an adjustment, they feel so much better when they've had one!

At 10 months my Asher was only eating squash fries and rice. And everything came out the way it went it. I'm not sure why and it doesn't do that anymore unless he is eating peas or corn.
