Foley??? And induction date set

I went to the doctors-- not even 1cm dialted. So apparently i Have the most unfavorable cervix in the world. They are inserting a foley on wed and inducing on thursday. I have a bad feeling About all of this.:( Anyone else that had a similiar exp please make me feel better.

    I got almost the same sentence today from my OB... I am still deciding whether or not I am ready to do it, I am not quite as far along as you. We are not doing a foley but rather cervadil Wednesday with a scheduled induction on Thursday if my cervix cooperates. I cannot believe I am not dilated at all! I just wanted to commiserate with you!

    I cried after I left my OB's office. 

    I have until Wednesday at 5:00 to make a final decision. I am scared that if my cervix isn't ready, this will just end in cesarian after a long 24-48 hours of induction...

    As you know, no experience but I'd shoot for the foley first too before any drugs.

    This stuff SUCKS!

    Thank god im not alone!!! The foley makes sense Im just a little freaked out about it. Hopefully it works the dame as it Did for PP. 1-5 would be awesome!!! I almost cried too i just wish baby knew what to do. Every night I pray that i wake up with contractions.

    Keep a positive outlook. My friend just delivered a healthy boy after starting her induction at 0cm/0%. Everything went fine, just took a bit longer. The foley got her from 0 to 3cms.
