AW: I never ever ever thought we'd get here

We had a LOT of trouble starting finger food.  Harry would puke and Alex would just flat out refuse... I remember posting here daily about how and what to give them.

Well, I'm happy to report we are finally here.  The boys have been making such good progress at "real food" that we decided to throw caution to the wind Saturday night and take them out to dinner and not pack any purees.  Well, they exceeded all of my expections!  Alex ate two strips of chicken (think fajita strips) and Harry ate the same amount of steak.  Harry also had some guac and black beans.  The best part, they had a blast feeding themselves!

Yipee - I'm soooooooo happy.

Me: PCOs DH: Perfect!
4 Fresh IVF cycles + 1 FET where embies didn't survive the thaw = 2 perfect little men!

    That is AWESOME!! Way to go guys!!

    I love it when they surprise you with their eating skills! That is, until I realize that Will ate most of my dinner, and I'm still hungry! Oh well, that is what dessert is for, right? ;)

    YAY!!!   that's fabulous!  and so freeing!  and ditto kme, its the new awesome diet..all the cool mom's are doing it...you'll be a twig and able to scarf down crumbs cupcakes as much as you want before you know it!  Stick out tongue  (oh wait...its not working for me...somehow he eats half of my meal and i'm still not losing weight quickly!)

    So wonderful. It makes it super fun. Jake loves everything I put in front of him, even colliflower (sp?) I don't even think I have ever had colliflower..He loves it though..

    Isn't it awesome??  I love packing the diaper bag these days...just diapers and wipes and we are good to go!!

    Yay! Way to go boys!!I don't know how you survived this long, it's so easy to be able to feed them whatever you are having! Enjoy the freedom =)

    The diet is working for me either because I wind up eating everything he doesn't!
