2nd u/s & bw= yes or no for IUI?

Sorry for another dumb question but will tomorrow's appt tell me if the Menopur is working and if I will qualify for the IUI procedure? If they say yes, how soon would it be happening? My period was off schedule and will be over tomorrow. Do they work it around ovulation? If they do, I might be in trouble and not have enough drugs. For the first time I am feeling anxious about a doctor appt. Just want to prepare myself for tomorrow afternoon. How many of you had a cancelled cycle at this point in the game? Thanks

They should call you after your blood work and tell you how your doing and give you some sort of idea on the schedule. I never did an IUI so I'm not sure about the whole process.

I'm not sure if I quite follow your question. What day did you start the menopur and what cycle day is your u/s tomorrow? I'm surprised you still have your period by the 2nd u/s. Did you have a CD3 u/s to start off the cycle? Normally, you would begin meds on CD3. Tomorrow, they will check your follie growth and take blood. The blood will tell you what your estrogen is and LH. They may have you continue to take drugs bc the follies aren't ready or they could tell you to trigger tomorrow night and schedule the IUI for the next day or day after that. The trigger will release whatever is in all your follicles which is basically ovulation but a forced one.

It was hell until day 4 and that was the last day I was going to give it before I stopped the medication. Thankfully, it got easier!

I am confused too so don't feel bad. I stopped the pill on a Saturday and they had me come in for a u/s on Tues which should have been day 3 but my period never started because it was messed up from the pill. They told me I might or might not be bleeding on that day. I started the injections of Menopur the next day. I had my 6th day of shots today. My period will have ended by tomorrow and he said based upon the u/s last week that I might not even have a period this month but he was wrong (freaks me out that he was wrong about that and makes me doubt him but he has an outstanding reputation and I need to trust him). Hopefully, I will have some clarification tomorrow. All along he has been saying, "We will see if the medication can help you out" I don't have a specific diagnosis with the exception of things have just slowed down to age and I think when they did the original u/s a few months ago- there were a lot of follicles but none that were that big or mature (does that sound right?) Thank you for describing what they will be looking for tomorrow.

Our cycles were very close..i stopped bcp on the Sun. I had my CD6 u/s today and got the call this afternoon to continue with the 225bravelle and the 75 menopur for the next two nights. I had to go get more drugs today.....boo for another $600 bucks.

I had my last cycle cancelled at day 6 because there were no visible follicles and the E2 was too low for an inj. drug cycle. It seems like the doc is confident with your b/w ...I guess....otherwise they would not continue, right?

Yes, my last BCP was on a Saturday so we are on a very similar cycle. I don't know what my blood is showing because they only call if things are bad and trust me, that is a blessing for me. Less information= less stress in my case. I will find out today and since this is our only cycle we can do this, I will just tell him we want to continue no matter what so we can at least complete the process unless there are too many eggs and I end up with six kids
